Privacy, in plain English

• Who we are. Kayfabia LLC, a Florida company run by one founder, Orlando. This policy covers kayfabia.com — the public site with the waitlist and the founding box office. The app itself is in private beta; its members get this same deal plus their beta terms.
• What this site collects. Only what you hand us: an email address or US mobile number if you join the waitlist, and — if you arrived through a share link — which platform sent you. Our servers also keep standard technical logs (IP address, time, page asked for) to keep the site up and to slow down abuse. That's the whole list.
• What this site doesn't do. No ad networks, no third-party trackers, no analytics cookies, no selling or renting your information to anyone, ever. That would be very heel of us.
• What we use it for. The first call when the doors open, box-office and founding updates, and the occasional piece of news worth sending — nothing else. If you gave a phone number, you're agreeing to receive those texts at that number; message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to end them. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works.
• Payments and ID verification. When the box office opens, payments run through Stripe — your card details go to Stripe, never to Kayfabia's servers. Inside the app, identity verification runs through Stripe Identity: Kayfabia keeps the result — that a real human passed — and never the document. Your legal name stays sealed; your characters are what the world sees.
• Who works on our behalf. Two kinds of helpers, both under their own published privacy terms: Amazon Web Services hosts the site and delivers our email (United States), and Stripe handles payments and identity checks. Each one sees only what its job requires.
• Your choices. Unsubscribe from any email with one click, stop texts with STOP, and for anything else — see what we hold about you, fix it, or have it deleted — contact us below and we'll honor it.
• Do Not Track. We don't track you across other sites in the first place, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing here — there's nothing to turn off.
• Kids. This site isn't directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If one slipped onto the waitlist, tell us and the entry is gone.
• Visitors outside the US. Kayfabia runs on servers in the United States, so that's where your information lives. Wherever you're reading from, the same promise holds: ask and we'll show, fix, or delete what we have.
• Changes. If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date, and anything significant gets announced to the list before it takes effect.
